Lake Geneva 2021 Winterfest

Looking for something fun to do this winter?

Everyone is welcome to join Four Winds at WINTERFEST 2021 LAKE GENEVA and it's FREE

FEBRUARY 3 - 7, 2021

Riviera Plaza & Flat Iron Park, Downtown Lake Geneva, WI

Downtown Lake Geneva is proud to present the 26th Annual Lake Geneva Winterfest, featuring the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Championship February 3–7, 2021. As the only national snow sculpting championship in the United States, Winterfest will welcome the most talented and award-winning sculpting teams from across the country. Be here to witness these teams at work during an epic 72-hour competition where their artistry is put to the test in creating remarkable, larger-than-life snow sculptures.

In addition to the snow sculpting competition, you’ll find more wintery fun during Winterfest week, including the second annual Downtown Ice Sculpture Walk, Bonfires on the Beach, Fire & Ice Bar, a Cocoa Crawl, s'more and many more events, activities and specials around the Lake Geneva area and more for the whole family

Lake Geneva Winterfest safety provisions outlined; one-way foot traffic and masks

The snow sculpting competition will feature 12 teams this year instead of the usual 15 teams. The competition will include snow-sculpting teams from Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Colorado, New York, Alaska and Florida.  Seven teams will be building their sculptures at Flat Iron Park, and another five teams will have their sculptures at the Riviera plaza. There will be a one-way entrance area at both locations for people to view the sculptures.

The snow-sculpting teams also will be set about 6 feet back from the spectator viewing areas.

Streets will be closed to help with social distancing during the event.

Face masks will be recommended but not required. Several vendors will be selling Winterfest face masks during the event.

A new feature for this year’s Winterfest will be a vendor’s tent where people can purchase snack items and Winterfest-related merchandise.  Local "sit-down" restaurants, bars, retails stores will all be open during the fest.

The company that builds and operates the castles noted in a press release that they will have precautions in place for coronavirus, including operating at reduced capacity, marking passageways for one-way traffic and requiring guests to wear face coverings.
