Follow the story of Tim Paul, a blind marathon runner from Chicago, IL. Tim works full-time, lives on his own, and has completed over 22 marathons and 10 triathlons. Despite his visual impairment, Tim refuses to let his disabilities define him, embracing every hobby from sailing and downhill skiing to playing the flute, piano and water skiing with boundless enthusiasm.
Join us for the Chicago Premiere of "I'm Only Blind," winner of the Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary at the 25th Annual Beverly Hills International Film Festival. Directed by Kamelya Alexan, "I'm Only Blind" follows the story of Tim Paul, a 66-year-old blind marathon runner from Chicago and an employee of The Chicago Lighthouse. Despite his visual impairment, Tim refuses to let his disability define him. Embracing all life has to offer, pursuing activities that are beyond what the average human will accomplish in a lifetime.

EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AND PLACEMENT: Helping people with disabilities and Veterans develop the skills, opportunities and support to succeed in the workplace and build fulfilling careers.
COMPREHENSIVE LOW-VISION SERVICES: Helping individuals who are blind or visually impaired understand and accommodate their vision loss through diagnostic treatment, psychological counseling, navigational training, assistive technology sales and services.
SOCIAL SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY: Helping individuals with disabilities build healthy social networks and provide platforms that amplify the voices of members belonging to the communities we serve.
