Prez Says

Hi Everyone,

We had a fantastic ski season with two lodge trips, a trip with ABSF to Granite Peak, and a trip to Indianhead with close to 50 people. Our only remaining trip now is the sold out Copper Mountain trip the last week of March. We will soon be looking into trip ideas for next year but for now we still have another trip to enjoy!

Our next general meeting will be April 5th, 2018 at Real Time Sports starting at 7pm. This meeting will be our final nominations for elected positions followed by our membership vote for those nominated. We need a quorum of at least 20% of our voting membership so to encourage all of you to come out and vote we will be providing free pizza. We are always looking for anyone interested in being on the board or on a committee for next year. If you have interest please let someone on the board know. It’s a great way to become more involved with the club.

In terms of upcoming social events we are having a Blackhawks road watch on April 4th at the Libertyville Sports Complex. Our Spring Banquet will be at Gale Street Inn on Sunday, April 29th. Details for both of these can be found in this SnowTimes issue.

We are also starting to entertain the idea of finding a new meeting location. We have been bumped from our meeting room at Real Time Sports on several occasions and it is seems to be occurring quite frequently. Sheri is working on a couple of restaurants of the month for all who are interested to see if one of these locations could become our new meeting location going forward. If you have a suggestion for a possible new general meeting location please let someone on the board know.

Enjoy the rest of your SnowTimes Newsletter. All of the upcoming activities and social events will also be detailed online and in the various links associated with this SnowTimes Newsletter.

Hopefully you can join us on one or more of the upcoming social events or at a future meeting.

Russ (Prez: Four Winds Ski, Ride & Socialize Club)
