Every year the lodge does a workers weekend. This is a weekend where folks who support the lodge donate their services to the lodge to do maintenance and upgrades to keep the lodge running smoothly. 

Here were the items they were able to do this year. 

• Cleaned the septic tank and area around it( lots of tree branches and roots removed) and added root eater solution to the tank
• Cleaned tons of debris/tree limbs off the roof
• Reworked the duct work in room 2 to make it warmer
• Replaced all the smoke detectors and made them so they are all inter connected
• Vacuumed and steam cleaned all rugs and carpeting
• Washed all the windows
  
• Replaced the thermostat
• Fixed a couple holes in the siding and filled them with animal-proof foam insulation

They also donated the new smoke detectors and the new thermostat to the lodge.
