In addition to doing weekend, lodge, and longer trips out west, Four Winds also does "meetup" day trips. These are trips that require no commitment and are a way for those that either want to meet, ski, or ride with members of the club on a local hill without committing to a longer trip.
Our first meetup trip will be at Chestnut Mountain, about 2hrs west of the Northwest Chicago suburbs. This is a great hill, on the banks of the Mississippi river, and near Galena if you are looking to extend your day.
These trips are low commitment, but its a great way to ski/ride with club members or potential members easily.
BONUS, if you have an INDY or INDY+ pass, you can ski/ride Chestnut for free using your pass.
