Four Winds 2023 Steamboat Springs Trip

Overview

This a la carte trip (Saturday, January 28 to Saturday, February 4) is a 7-day trip allowing you to ski up to five days in a row.  Non-skiing activities will also be available.  Lodging is in a 3-bedroom condo at Yampa View with a full kitchen, gas fireplace, outdoor barbecue, and hot tub/jacuzzi.  Additional amenities include a gym, sauna, and a private heated ski locker.

Itinerary

Saturday – travel by air to Yampa Valley Regional Airport/Hayden and then a 40-minute shuttle ride to Yampa View

Sunday to Friday – free shuttle bus to the ski resort or alternative non-skiing activities

Non-skiing activities include:

§  Snowmobiling / snowshoeing

§  Hot air ballooning / sleigh rides

§  Helicopter sightseeing / horseback riding

§  Ice skating / hot springs

§  And more…

Saturday – Shuttle transfer from Yampa View to Yampa Valley Regional Airport and return home

Trip Costs

Travel and lodging are estimated around $1185.  Pricing is based on a group of eight people going.  If we don’t get 8, pricing will go up.  Additional people will go on a waiting list until another room is filled.

If you don’t need transportation (air fare and the airport/resort shuttle) - deduct $650

2022 Lift Ticket (purchased on your own)

The best deal is buying online in advance through IKON.  No additional cost for IKON base or full passholders.

§  IKON 4-day session pass is $449

§  IKON 3-day session pass is $369

§  IKON 2-day session pass is $269

Optional Costs

Rentals are optional – $25to $50/day for skis, $10/day for a helmet

Insurance is also optional and costs $25/$70/$105 (depending on how much coverage you want)

Payment Plan

The deposit is at least $100 before August 28 and it is non-refundable after 10/28.  Each payment after the deposit is at least $300 due on 9/28, 10/28.  The balance is due 11/28.  If the total trip cost is lower, your last payment will be less or the difference will be refunded to you if you paid in full.
