Four Winds 2022 Granite Peak Trip Details

Overview

This weekend trip (Friday, January 21 to Sunday, January 23) is in Wausau, WI.  The trip includes lodging and lift tickets.  Lodging is at the Hampton Inn, about three miles from Granite Peak.

Granite Peak

Terrain:  Over 200 acres, highest vertical in Wisconsin of 700’, lots of trees, 58 trails, and four terrain parks

Lifts:  Two high-speed quads, a high-speed six-pack, and more

Non-skiing activities include:

§  Farmer’s Market / Ice skating

§  Snowshoeing / Sledding hills

§  Center for Visual Arts/ Sleigh rides

§  Seasonal festivals / and much more…

Trip Costs

Update on Pricing as of October 10, 2021: The trip cost is estimated between $290 - $350 

Update pricing as of October 24, 2021:  Trip deposit and installments now $120 due trip pricing dropped.

Depending on the accommodations you choose, whether you are entitled to discounted/free tickets, and how many people go.

Lodging

§  Standard rooms with 2 queens

§  Amenities include a hot tub, fitness center, indoor pool, free breakfast, and much more

§  Deduct $242 if you are providing your own lodging

Lift Tickets

§  Children and seniors receive a discount

§  Indy passholders

o   Can ski for free on Saturday

o   Ski for 25% off the window price on Sunday or for free if you’re an Indy+ passholder

Optional Lessons

§  A 90-minute group lesson is available for $70

§  Each intermediate or private lesson is available for $90

Optional Equipment Rental Prices:  $36/$54 (beginner), $48/$72 (sport), or $64/$115 (high performance)

§  One-day/two-day pricing does not include a helmet

§  Rates for children are lower

Transportation

We can try to coordinate car-pooling if needed

Payment Plan

A deposit of $120 is required by 9/14.  A second installment of $120 is required before 10/14 with the balance required before 11/14.  The last installment amount will be determined based on your specific situation.
