I Want to thank all the clubs that attended this year.We had 20 clubs in attendance & 105 people in all. The weather was perfect. The temp was 79 & the clouds kept most of the heat away.

Jeannie & Kirby with the Kirby ski club keep us entertained during the day. lots of competition during the games. Hula hoop, balloon toss, Bags & Volley Ball get us up & moving. The famous  trivia game keeps us moving too & froe & sharpens the mind. The grills were lit & the food was enjoyed by all, long into the evening.

 

Norge flyers took to the skies & kept us awe struck. From the 10 meter, to the 40, back to the 25 & than off the 70 meter jump. Norge is a ski club with Olympic hopes. These guys & girls compete all over the world. A few had just returned from Japan. The 10 year old, took the show when he went off the 70 meter jump. Pretty cool for such a young kid.

 

For those of us that endured the elements & camped over night.

We had a practice session going on & got to see more jumping while enjoying our coffee.

Good way to start the day.

Another amazing event for the books!  As crowds gathered for ski jumping, antique car show, BBQ, DJ and dancing, the celebrations was on!  Water balloon toss, baggoes, volleyball kept us busy Into the night as ski clubs from across the Midwest came together for conversation and fun.  Make a point to join us next year for this free, family fun event!  Camping allowed both Friday and sat night.
