Hello Four Winders

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. When August rolls around I get a little apprehensive, all those summer plans get packed into this month. This year is a bit different we started with an early summer vacation and then joined Four Winds in Lacrosse for some camping and biking. I know some of the club is staying in shape by playing volleyball on Monday nights at Busse Woods, six pack abs Rock On!!!!

Talk about Rock On Buddy Guy and Jeff Beck, Can't Wait!!  Most of these events have been planned by our social butterfly Evanna. She's hard to keep up with but always a BLAST.

Club news: Four Winds has been talking with the Oak Park Ski Club in regards to merging. The board met in July to work out logistics. A formal announcement will be made at the next general meeting Thursday August 4th 8:00 p.m. at Real Time Sports. We will take a vote as a club in September in regards to the merger. As far as the club goes not much will change except for the fact we will have more members. Yahoo, more people to ski and socialize with.

We are still first and foremost a ski club. Lots of trips coming up this winter stay tuned. Hope to see everyone soon at the next meeting or social event.
