Metra Pub Crawl

Oct 17th

was a very good day for 21 Four Winders and friends to take a leisurely train ride.  We met at Peggy Kinnanes in Arlington Heights. We enjoyed a few drinks and some appetizers just to get some food in their tummies.

More folks joined at Durty Nellies, our second stop.  To test our pub trivia there was a 10 question quiz.  The quiz got some people thinking, others just thought of beer.

The third stop was in Barrington at Wool Street Bar and Grill.  The Grill part came in handy because most ate there. The food and service was pretty good, as well as the selection of beer.  The game was most words out of “Metra Pub Crawl”.  Kristi won, but was she working alone?........

Forth stop, at “Tracks” we found room outside under heaters and had a ski basket toss.

Fifth and final stop was at Crystal Lake Brewery. There we played some games, and had our grand final game.  Who could collect the most coasters.  It was a close race.

Bottom line:  Everyone behaved (except 1 rude incident on the train, yes you know who you are and what you did!).  All had a great time.  Thanks for joining us and we must do this again.
