Wow! An event so many of us went to months ago (like last year), is just now being reported?  Sorry about that. Anyway the picnic was fun!  Date was August 26th, Fox River Grove.  Picnic meeting and dining area was located between the ornate Norge Ski Club Lodge and the grassy ski slide basin, with the tall imposing jump hill standing over all.

 Due to a scheduling conflict, your PR writer had to leave the picnic early, but Russ Butler filled in nicely for him with his own camera and turned in a good report of the event in time for the Snow Times September issue.  A whole lot of people from many ski clubs attended.  Make next August the time you do the next CMSC picnic scene if you missed it this time.  Of course.
