Hi there! The big event was the Four Winds Ski, Ride and Socialize Club's Annual Holiday Potluck Party held Friday December 8th at 6:30pm. For many of us it was the first time visiting the Church Street Brewing Company (in Itasca) and proved to be a remarkable place to celebrate an event of any kind. Your writer has visited Church Street a number of times and has always been impressed by the rows of clean, gleaming stainless steel fermenter tanks. It’s a different sight.
The 10x10 show tent was expertly set up by Gregg and Russ, with the tables and chairs pushed into place by volunteers just minutes before the first party goers started arriving at about half past six. The Italian beef sandwiches with au jus were terrific as were the shared dishes at the buffet.
The wrapped White Elephant Gift Exchange lasted about an hour and was worth every last entertaining minute of it. All the exchange gifts left the table, and Sheri as our Master (Mistress?) of Ceremonies took the show to its 10pm conclusion. There were over forty people who showed up, and 27 pix to prove it..
All attendees are identified only by their first names plus initial, due to a recent naming rule change. The "@" is a reading separator between title & caption. Now for the photos.
