On Sunday, December 5th, 2021 Four Winds had their holiday party at Pinstripes in Barrington. The holiday party was sold out with 40 people in attendance. Sheri and Gregg worked extremely hard to make sure that all who attended had a wonderful time.
The holiday party started at 11am and included free non-alcoholic beverages and a buffet. The buffet included many breakfast and lunch items as well as many desserts. It was simply delicious. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs as well.
The party included several games including a dice game of matching numbers, a game on guessing the number of pennies in a container (there were 1205 by the way which was the month and date of the event), a word search that contained names of the guests at the party, and a holiday song unscramble.
In addition, we also had a white elephant gift exchange with many wonderful prizes that were brought in by those who wished to participate. Each gift was opened once it was selected and could be “stolen” up to three times. It was hard to keep track of all of the gifts as they were swapping hands but all who played had a wonderful time.
Santa also came by to grab some cookies and we sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town with him as he shook hands with us and said hi to the kids who attended. It was nice of Santa to stop by as we all know this is his busy time of year.
We also celebrated Gregg and Syed’s birthdays and all of us including Santa sang happy birthday to them both.
It was a great party and for $40 it was a great deal but our members also received $10 off as a thank you for being one of our members and then Pinstripes provided each adult attendee with a $20 coupon for a future visit so the actual cost if you use the coupon was only $10 for each adult member…what a deal!
