Come join us as we ski/ride Copper Mountain on the front range in beautiful Colorado.
Lodging
For this trip we have rented a 9 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 10000 sq foot house that accommodates 18 in Frisco, CO. (10 minutes from Copper - which has free parking and there is also free local Summit County bus service).
The cost for the lodging is $400/person for the whole week (7 nights). There is no pro-rated lodging if you are only staying for part of the week. We all plan on skiing/riding either 4 or 5 days while we're out there.
We are also working on overflow lodging at a smaller condo near the main house in Frisco as well, so we welcome additional skiers/boarders.
Transportation
Transportation is up to the individuals themselves, but Copper can be reached either by
- Driving (approximately 16 hours)
- Train (Amtrak) to Denver, and then car rental or ground transportation to Frisco/Copper
- Flying (fly into DIA), and then car rental or ground transportation to Frisco/Copper
Lift Tickets
Lift Tickets are NOT included, but many of us have taken advantage of the Copper 4-pack (4 days of unlimited skiing/riding for $149 - good all year, with NO blackouts). You can find more information on our Additional Info page. Discounted passes can also be gotten from the shell gas station program as well (also on our Additional Info page), and a number of us have discounted buddy passes we might not be using.
