Live entertainment, specials, festivities, and of course Corned Beef can be expected throughout the day and night at bars and restaurants in both East and West Dundee on both days. All events are in walking distance.
This year's events are taking place over two separate weekends, Saturday March 9, 2019 with following activities:
Shamrock Fundraiser, Corned Beef Contest, Kilted 5k, Pet Parade, Thom McNamee Memorial St. Patrick's Day Parade, Emmett's Brewing Big Wheel Races, St. Catherine of Siena St. Patrick's Day Dinner & Dance and much more!
Those who want to get an earlier start to parade day can participate in the Dublindee Kilted 5K. The 8 a.m. race will start and finish in the parking lot of Lifeline Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, 296 Williams Place, East Dundee, and follow the Fox River Trail path. THOM MCNAMEE MEMORIAL DUBLINDEE KILTED 5K
Want to get your pets in on the day's fun? Enter them in the Dublindee Pet Parade, presented by Dundee Animal Hospital. The first 25 people who bring their well-behaved four-legged friends to the Depot, 319 N. River St., by 9:30 a.m. with their registration forms can participate. Judging starts at 10:15 a.m., with prizes awarded to first-, second- and third-place winners and an invitation to participate in the McNamee St. Patrick's Day parade. Fantastic fireworks sponsored by Bandito Barney's to take place on St. Patrick's Day proper Saturday March 16th at dusk over the Fox River. Lots of great places to view the fireworks along the Fox River and Main Street bridge.
