Our friends, ABSF - American Blind Skiing Foundation is holding their major fundraising event.

Date: Saturday evening July 15, 2017

EVENT: ABSF Pig Roast Fundraiser - including music, silent auction, raffle and great food.
LOCATION: Donauschwaben Hall – Des Plaines, IL

TIME: Doors 4:30pm, Food Service 5pm - ? This event is open to the public.

The American Blind Skiing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization run totally by volunteers. Their mission is to serve blind and visually impaired children and adults, giving them experiences and confidence that can last a lifetime through the sport of downhill skiing and snowboarding. Your donation will raise money to allow ABSF to continue to partially fund visually impaired skiers, boarders and volunteer guides. Finally, it will provide funding to update our guide and skier, classroom and on hill training programs keeping our skiers and boarders safe on the slopes.
