Hi Everyone,

Happy Holidays to all!

The cold and snow are just around the corner but for now, we can enjoy some early fall temperatures. Snow will be flying soon enough and of course, that means time to hit the slopes!

Our trips are all open. Our first lodge trip will be February 2nd – 4th followed by our Granite Peak trip with ABSF the weekend of February 9th – 11th. Our Indianhead/Powderhorn trip is next the weekend of February 23rd – 25th, followed quickly by another lodge trip the weekend of March 9th – 11th. The 9th annual Brew-Ski Festival is at Boyne Highlands on that Saturday with over 285 beers from around the world and over 70 breweries. Our final trip is our Copper Mountain the week of March 24th to 31st. This trip is currently waitlisted. They are all sure to be a great time. You can check out the trips in this SnowTimes issue and also look at our website for details.

We had our Meet and Greet at our general meeting on November 2nd. We had a wonderful turnout and free pizza for all. We hope to see all those who attended the meet and greet more often at our other social events, meetings, and trips and of course those who were unable to attend we look forward to seeing you soon as well.

We also had our lodge workers weekend to winterize the lodge and do some annual maintenance the weekend of November 17th to 19th. It was a chance to get the lodge ready for the winter months, obtain some supplies, and also after working to kick back and enjoy great food and some time with friends. Our caretaker, Morgan, and local handyman, Greg, really have the lodge looking wonderful. I hope you take the opportunity to get to the lodge this winter.

Coming up in December we will be having our holiday party on Friday, December 8th at Church Street Brewery in Itasca at 6:30 pm. Details of our holiday party event are being provided in this SnowTimes issue.

Because the Holiday party is on Friday, December 8th we have decided to cancel our normal Thursday meeting. Therefore the Thursday, December 7th meeting at Real Time Sports has been canceled. If you wish to sign up for a trip or update your membership that can either be done online or at the Holiday party. We will bring forms along just in case.
