The weekend of March 3rd to March 5th Four Winds had a drive up trip to the Wisconsin Dells area. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells. Most of us drove up Friday evening and the majority drove to nearby Cascade Mountain on Saturday. Others drove up on Saturday to ski with us for the day. It was a wonderful day of skiing with plenty of snow and wonderful conditions. Several others decided to stay back at the Wilderness and enjoyed the very large, nice, and warm indoor water park.
Saturday evening we had a pizza party at the large condo that we all stayed at. Sheri Butler ordered quite a bit of pizza along with a lot of other items for our eating pleasure. We had plenty of snacks as well and food for lunch both on Saturday and Sunday. Sheri also put together a wonderful goodie bag for all those on the trip including beads and a St. Patricks Day hat for the upcoming holiday.
After the pizza party most went to the water park again while others put on our detective hats and tried to figure out an Escape Room full of clues. We had one hour to escape. Unfortunately we were unable to escape so they had to provide us with plenty of leading clues and ideas so that we could finally get out of that room. Sunday we all played some miniature golf and then many headed home while others hit the water park for a bit.
It was a wonderful quick getaway trip with a lot to do and plenty to eat. Thanks again to Sheri Butler for putting together this wonderful outing and to all of those on the trip who helped to make it such a wonderful success.
